You called, you texted, you emailed, you even sent them a video or two as I explained in a previous video, but still, you’ve had no luck getting that prospect to respond to you. What can you do? This

 

Now before I get into this, just know that this will not work for every industry. This likely would not work well for a lawyer who focuses on wrongful death or divorce law, nor would it likely work for a doctor who practices some kind of sensitive medicine like cancer treatment. Also, this will not work for every prospect, so use your judgment on this. If the prospect is much older, this likely won’t work. And if you think that your prospect has absolutely zero sense of humor and likely hasn’t laughed in about five years, then I would definitely not use this strategy. But if they don’t fit into one of those categories, then it’s worth a shot. And in most cases, as long as you’re not offensive, you’ll likely get a response back. And it can be a great way to re break the ice with the prospect who wasn’t planning on getting back to you for whatever reason.

So what is this magical technique? Send them a meme. Not sure what a meme is? Well, unless you’ve been living under a rock or you still have dial-up internet, you’ve likely seen memes on social media and online everywhere. But a meme is loosely defined as a picture or video used to portray a message or a feeling. Let me give you a few examples. So if a prospect is ghosting you, try sending them a meme like this

 

or perhaps this.

Perhaps you want to reestablish why the prospect should buy from you and not from someone else, you can send them a meme that looks something like this.

Now you don’t have to just use pictures, you can also use video clips to get your message or your point across to the prospect. Just like sending the prospect a video, a meme is just another form of a pattern interrupt and it’s a departure from what the prospect is likely expecting from you.

Now if you do a quick search online or through the app store, you’ll be able to yield a number of options for creating high-quality engaging memes. So next time a prospect ghosts you, send them a meme and see how much quicker they are at getting back to you.
