As of Monday, March 23rd, 2020, there are massive opportunities to be had for your business, not just right now, but also moving into the future. So, please, whatever you do, DO NOT PANIC. Do not contract. The worst thing you can do is to go into what we’re all dealing with right now with a scarcity mindset.
It’s time to get creative.
What you need to understand is that right now most people are sitting at home and they’re looking at a screen, which gives you an opportunity to engage with them and divert their attention to something else. So let me share with you some actions to take on how you can use this opportunity to engage with your current customers, with future customers and change up your strategy a little bit because after all of this is over the way in which consumers engage with the business and buy services and buy products and how they are going to expect the delivery of those products and services is completely changing.
- First and foremost, do not cut your marketing. Whatever you do, cut back a little bit. Move a few things around if you have to. But do not cut your marketing. Do not go dark. That is a scarcity mentality and will not serve you a good purpose moving forward.
- Next. You want to focus on services and information that are going to provide value to your current customers and future customers and your past customers as well. See, right now, streets are empty, no one is out so you must go to them where they are and where they are, again, is sitting at home whether they’re staring at their phone or staring at their computers. That’s where they are right now, and that’s where their attention is.
So for right now you got to start thinking a bit outside of the box, in my latest video, available on youtube, I’m gonna rattle off a couple of industries and some ways that you can not only better connect with people right now but given the current climate of things, a lot is about to change.
Video is your friend during this time, whether it’s creating video content or doing video conferencing. The way in which your business is going to thrive and survive in these uncertain times ahead is by using video to connect and engage with your prospects. And using some of these ideas is what’s going to help you achieve success long term in business, because during this time of uncertainty, what’s going to start happening is this is going to become the new norm for prospects and for consumers. So it’s time you learned that from now on, you’re probably gonna have to go to them, not they come to you all the time.
